Outdoor Adventures
The Abajo Mountains and Southeastern Utah are the perfect place for adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts. You’ll never run out of things to do here.
Miles and miles of wilderness await you, full of hiking and ATV trails, fishing holes, mountain biking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding, kayaking and river rafting.
Guided Tours
If you’re looking to head out and explore on your own, you’re welcome to. But Utah’s Canyon Country also has a variety of expert guides and outfitters to help you get the most out of your visit. Some of the most exciting things to do require the knowledge or equipment of a guide. We can introduce you to some our favorite local guides – just give us a call!
Scenic Drives
There’s no way to describe the magnificent drives that await anyone who loves the open road. Hollywood has made a career out of showing off the scenic roads in the Monument Valley area, but equally impressive are drives along highways 95, 163, 191, 261, 275, 276. The diversity of scenic drives in Utah’s Canyon Country ranges from lower desert terrain to high mountain forests.
Archeological Interests
Visit the many sites that Southeastern Utah has to offer. But, please remember to respect these ancient and sacred sites as you visit them.
From Bears Ears with it’s eroded monocline (bending of the earth’s crust in only one direction), Valley of the Gods with it’s great sandstone monoliths, delicate spires and long rock fins, to Hovenweep, where people lived thousands of years ago, there’s so much history here that you won’t run out of places to unearth!
