Abajo Haven Video

Bill and Leslie's Abajo Haven is a refreshing oasis in Utah canyonlands. The hospitality is genuine and warm, the food and facilities are excellent, and Bill's enthusiastic and well-informed walk-about of local habitat and and native archeology is a real pleasure. I highly recommend the Abajo Haven as a base for exploring eastern Utah.

Directions

NOTE: MAP QUEST WILL NOT GIVE YOU ACCURATE DIRECTIONS!

Coming from North on Highway 191 traveling South

Coming from South on Highway 191 traveling North

As you come into the town of Blanding, you will reach the only 4-way stop sign in the town of Blanding. Turn right on Highway 191, go one block and turn North (left) at the Zions Bank – this road is "100 East".

Once you are on "100 East"

You will travel 6 miles North towards the Abajo Mountains in front of you. You will not turn off of "100 East" until you reach the ranch. You will gradually climb in elevation. Once you reach the first drop off (it is an obvious drop off), you will see the ranch off to the right. We are the second driveway on the right at the bottom of that hill (directly beyond the Abajo Haven sign). The ranch is the first place on the left. Check in at the house.
